Who operates these services
Effective 4 November 2026 (version 2026.11.04.1). This policy applies to the IIWEY Dash Cam mobile app, the shared IIWEY customer account, the IIWEY online store at iiweydashcam.com, and related customer support. It describes information handled by IIWEY through those services. A separately operated app or service linked from them may have its own notice.
The operator responsible for these services is 香港諾迪思國際有限公司, Unit 135, 1/F, 143 Wai Yip Street, Kwun Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong. For privacy questions or requests, email support@iiwey.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject.
香港諾迪思國際有限公司 is the merchant payment-collection entity for IIWEY transactions and may appear on a payment statement or receipt. Its address is Unit 135, 1/F, 143 Wai Yip Street, Kwun Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
Information we handle and why
Accounts and technical use: a guest or registered account identifier, installation identifier, email, profile details, consent and policy-version records, authentication and session records, app and operating-system version, device model, language, region, IP address, request time and security logs. Online guest services may receive an installation profile with the phone name, manufacturer and model, App build, time zone, screen category, and available notification or concurrent-network capability status. We use these to provide shared sign-in, keep sessions working, record choices, protect accounts and respond to faults or abuse.
Connected devices and optional features: camera identifiers, model, firmware version, account-device relationship, connection status and settings needed for pairing, live view and support. If you choose maps or road matching, the relevant location, route or viewed-area data may be processed for that feature. The app can send selected route coordinates to a configured road-matching service when enabled.
Store and support: selected products, cart and order details, delivery contact and address, payment and refund references, shipment and return information, reviews, support messages and files you choose to submit. We use these to complete purchases, deliver products, answer questions, investigate warranty or return requests and meet accounting or legal duties. Saving a shipping address only on your phone does not upload it by itself; submitting it with an order or support request does. An address already in your online account may synchronize to the App.
App AI support: DeepSeek primarily generates replies. Qwen also performs semantic routing, image understanding and reply review, and may generate a fallback reply if DeepSeek fails. With your permission, the provider performing each function receives the information needed for it: your AI-support messages and relevant conversation context, images you choose to submit, product-model knowledge-base documentation and, for reply review, the proposed reply. This does not mean both providers receive all data on every request. Do not include passwords, payment credentials or unrelated sensitive information in your question.
You can decline or withdraw permission through the App's AI data-sharing controls; human support and local camera functions remain available. Withdrawal stops subsequent App AI requests for this account across all signed-in devices. It cannot recall requests already sent and does not by itself delete all chat history or copies held by providers. If you separately authorize and submit diagnostic logs, the relevant analysis may also include approved, redacted diagnostic content and knowledge-base documentation on App operation and troubleshooting. AI data-sharing permission and diagnostic authorization are separate; neither replaces the other. Website customer support is separate from this App choice.
An optional support diagnostic request describes its purpose and data categories before authorization; a previously authorized or offline submission may upload when connectivity returns. Depending on the scope, it may include App, phone and system details, camera model and firmware, installation or device references, connection and sign-in status without credential values, recording and storage-card status, camera channels and media-service state, request paths and identifiers, recent redacted diagnostic events, and a description you choose to provide. Standard diagnostics filter credential and location fields and mask recognized tokens, email addresses and hardware network addresses; this is not full anonymization and does not cover text or files you separately choose to send. Standard support diagnostics do not collect recording contents or GPS route files. AI diagnostic submissions are bound to the account and permission version under which they were authorized. After withdrawal, a permission change or an identity change, an old offline AI package must not be replayed automatically; human-support diagnostics follow their separate authorization.
Clearing an App AI conversation removes that conversation's messages and context from the App service and starts a fresh context. It does not delete human-support messages, orders, account or device bindings, or local recordings. The conversation identifier, selected device or order and language can remain; independently referenced attachments may remain, and another offline device must reconnect to synchronize the change. Clearing the App cache alone does not erase server chat history. Provider-side processing and retention also depend on the provider's terms and settings; use of an API alone does not establish zero retention.
Video and photos saved only on your phone or camera memory card are not uploaded merely because you view or download them in the app. Device file indexes, thumbnails, downloaded media and local route analyses remain on the phone unless a feature or attachment you select transmits the relevant data. If you choose to send a recording, image, diagnostic bundle or other attachment to IIWEY support, that selected content is transmitted and handled as a support record. Clearing the App cache does not remove copies saved to the system photo library or another app.
Where applicable, we process data to perform a requested service or contract, meet legal obligations, protect service security and support as legitimate interests, or with consent for optional processing that requires it. You may withdraw optional consent without losing unrelated local camera functions; withdrawal does not undo processing that was lawful before it.
App permissions and local camera connections
Depending on the device and feature, the app may request local-network or nearby Wi-Fi access for camera discovery and connection, location for Wi-Fi discovery or maps, camera access for QR scanning or a support photo, microphone access for audio in a video you choose to record, photo-library access for selected media and saved downloads, and notifications for service or device alerts. You can refuse or change a permission in your device settings; the related feature may then be unavailable.
Direct communication between the phone and a camera on its local Wi-Fi network is different from communication with IIWEY's online service. Internet account and support requests use HTTPS; camera-local Wi-Fi protocols can use unencrypted HTTP, RTSP or TCP and are not end-to-end encrypted cloud services. Deleting an online account does not erase media stored in your phone gallery or on a camera memory card.
Service providers and international processing
We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-app behavioral advertising. We use Tencent Cloud to host the main IIWEY service in the United States. We share the information needed for a requested function with relevant providers: Antom for App and online-store payments, the institutions involved in your selected payment method, Resend for service-email delivery, delivery carriers, and support or infrastructure providers. Payment processors may apply their own privacy notices.
App payments for physical goods use only Antom. The online store currently also uses Antom for payment processing and related refunds. To create a payment session, we send Antom order and payment references, a generic order description, the amount and currency, an internal customer reference, the connection IP address, terminal category and, for mobile-web payments, operating-system category, session expiry, and payment return and notification URLs. That request does not include the checkout email, shipping address, itemized products, order note or gift-card selection. Antom and the providers involved in your selected payment method process the information needed to complete the transaction, confirm its status and perform necessary risk checks. Information you enter directly on a payment page is collected by the relevant payment service under its applicable privacy notice. We retain necessary order, payment and refund references and business records. Antom’s general privacy notice is available at https://docs.antom.com/ac/Platform/privacy; the applicable provider notice also depends on the payment service you select.
DeepSeek is the App's primary AI reply provider. Qwen performs semantic routing, image understanding and reply review, and may provide fallback replies when DeepSeek fails. Qwen requests use a mainland China service endpoint and may involve processing in mainland China. Website customer support also uses Qwen; requests from that website service may involve processing in mainland China. Other provider processing locations, technical logging and retention depend on the service and its configuration. Contact us for information about a particular transfer or service.
When you use maps, Google Maps can process map requests, location or viewed-area data, IP address, device or installation identifiers, interaction and diagnostic information. Online route matching can transmit selected route coordinates to a configured matching service. The App's 3D product view can load a script from ajax.googleapis.com, exposing an IP address and ordinary request data; the store website serves its current 3D viewer script from IIWEY's domain. Product tutorials may load a YouTube thumbnail, and playing a video loads an embedded player. These services may process device, network and usage information under their own notices.
Providers may process information outside your home country. In addition to the United States hosting noted above, App and website Qwen requests can involve processing in mainland China. Other provider locations depend on the specific service and configuration. You can contact us for the information relevant to your request.
Website storage, emails and choices
The store uses necessary cookies or similar browser storage for sessions, cart state, preferences and security. If optional analytics or marketing technology is used, we will provide choices required by applicable law. You can manage browser storage in your browser, but clearing it may sign you out or reset your cart.
Resend receives the destination address, subject and message content needed to deliver account, order and support emails; service providers may also process delivery or engagement metadata according to their settings. Promotional messages are optional where offered, and you can use an unsubscribe link or contact support@iiwey.com to stop them.
How long information is kept
Our approved retention period for ordinary support messages and App support diagnostics is no more than 24 months after a case closes, and for support attachments no more than 12 months after a case closes. An open claim, dispute or documented legal preservation may require longer. Automated removal covers App support diagnostics and qualifying attachments; older support sources may require separate manual review and deletion.
Routine App-service logs are configured for a 90-day retention window, and central security and administrative audit records for 12 months after the event. Other access, historical or provider logs may follow different periods. We keep only necessary order, payment and refund business records for at least seven years after completion of the transaction and any final refund, or longer where a documented legal duty or dispute requires it.
For categories without a fixed published period, including active account information, we keep information while it is needed for the account or requested service and then assess deletion or de-identification, subject to legal and dispute-related exceptions. Limited historical backup copies may contain earlier records until reviewed and deleted. Account deletion does not imply immediate erasure from every historical backup or independent provider. Signing out or clearing the App cache does not delete an online account.
Access, correction, export and deletion
You can request access, correction, an export or deletion by emailing support@iiwey.com. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may also be able to object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, request portability or complain to a supervisory authority. We may verify your identity before acting on a request.
You can request deletion of the shared IIWEY account without installing the app at https://iiweydashcam.com/shop/pages/delete-account. After identity verification, we process the account deletion request within seven days and confirm the outcome. Necessary transaction, warranty, consent, fraud-prevention or security records may be retained where a valid reason applies; our reply will explain retained categories. Files that remain only on your phone or camera card must be managed on that device.
Security, children and updates
We use access controls and technical and administrative safeguards for online service information. No internet or storage system can guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account is at risk, contact support@iiwey.com.
These services are not directed at children who cannot provide the consent required in their location. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied information without required authorization.
We may update this policy as services or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date appear at the top of this page. Where required, we will give additional notice or request renewed consent. For App online services, the App records the policy and terms versions you accept; a version change does not silently replace an earlier consent record.
