Choose a mounting position
Choose a suitable position on the front windshield. A spot in front of the passenger, close to the center of the windshield, is recommended. Keep the driver’s view clear.
Check that the rear-view mirror does not block the main unit’s left-side lens before choosing the final position.
Clean the glass and apply the sticker
Wipe the mounting area with a damp towel, then dry it with a dry towel. Make sure the glass is clean and dry.
Peel off the electrostatic sticker’s protective liner and apply it to the chosen position. Smooth from the center outward, as with a phone screen protector, removing all bubbles for a secure fit.
Attach the main unit
Peel the protective liner off the 3M adhesive on the mount. Press the mount firmly onto the electrostatic sticker and check that the main unit is securely attached.
Connect the charger and conceal the cable
Plug the device end of the car charger cable into the main unit’s power port. Use cable clips to secure the cable along the top of the windshield, then tuck it along the edge of the headliner.
Follow the diagram along the passenger-side A-pillar (the pillar beside the front windshield) and door weatherstrip. Keep the cable clear of airbags and their deployment paths; do not run it over airbag covers. Ask a professional installer if unsure.
Bundle and secure excess cable below the passenger glovebox or in a suitable place under the passenger floor mat, if fitted. Prevent loose cable from sliding or reaching the pedals. Plug the charger into the vehicle’s cigarette-lighter socket.
Connect and mount the rear camera
Align the rear camera’s 2.5 mm plug with the matching port on the main unit and insert it fully.
Secure the cable at the top of the front windshield with cable clips, then route it toward the rear along the headliner. Follow the diagram and tuck it along trim edges and door weatherstrips, clear of airbags and moving parts.
Bundle and secure excess cable behind the rear interior trim. Attach the rear camera at the top center of the rear windshield and adjust its angle for a clear rear view.
